Astanza Design – Building a Digital Presence from the Ground Up

Challenge

Challenges Astanza Design, a premium outdoor furnishing company for U.S. country clubs, had never had a website before. Founder Jim was now seeking to establish an online presence to support upcoming business opportunities and events, including a key convocation. But time was limited, and expectations were high.

Key challenges included:

Tight deadline: The website needed to be designed and launched quickly to align with a scheduled business event.
No prior digital presence: Jim had never owned a website before, so we needed to guide him through the full process — from structure to content.
Custom requirements: The site needed to include personalized components such as:
A custom portfolio showcase that went beyond a standard gallery.
A smart contact form that filtered real leads and reduced noise.
A CMS backend that made uploading project images, material palettes, and process info simple and intuitive.

The Solution

We planned and executed the project in two phases, allowing us to meet the short-term deadline without sacrificing long-term quality.
Phase 1 – Launching the Foundation:
Conducted multiple virtual meetings via Google Meet and Zoom to understand the business vision, tone, and structure.
Created live wireframes and prototypes collaboratively to shape the website layout quickly.
Designed a clean, brand-aligned interface in Figma, showcasing the company’s process, services, and visual aesthetics.
Built the website using WordPress and Elementor Pro, allowing future flexibility and easy updates for the team.
Custom Features Delivered:
  • A story-based portfolio section instead of a generic gallery — each project tells its own narrative.
  • A custom contact form designed to collect filtered, high-intent leads based on specific service categories.
  • A CMS backend using ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), empowering the client to easily manage content, palettes, and project images

Result

The first phase of the website launched successfully and has already made a strong impression in the industry. Provided Astanza Design with their first-ever digital presence, making it easier to present work remotely and attract new clients. Simplified complex service messaging with clear visual cues and concise structure. The custom-built CMS is now used by Jim’s team to upload new project visuals without needing technical help. The contact form is actively filtering inquiries, saving the team time and improving lead quality.

“Chandan is first honest. More than dependable, he went the extra step and acted as a brand manager. The web site design was initially from the client, but he created and crafted better designs and continues to offer solutions and ways to improve.”
